Oi, new to the forums but not to TLE. Now that that's out of the way, does anyone know if TLE is planning on releasing a B-sides compilation cd? They have like a billion songs that you can only get by getting the singles albums and a compilation album would make it so much easier.........and cheaper.

No word so far! But atm they're writing/demo-ing/recording etc for the new album :)
But if they do, I want it to be a double disc edition - one disc of b-sides already released on singles, the other disc full, choc block full of unreleased b-sides :D Yep, that would be awesome.

Yeah I was afraid of that. I knew they were working on the new album but a guy can always hope. Especially since if it was all pre-released b-sides there's not nearly as much work involved.
That would be freakin' amazing. I hope they do that as well.

With a bit of effort, one could make one's own cd of just b-sdes.

I think he's talking about all the hundreds of demos we couldn't dig up from the various parts of the internerd, haha.
But yes, this 'B Side Extravaganza" idea has been floating aruond the forum fer years, one day something might come of it!

I reckon they'll release one when the band is getting on a bit - even though its hard to imagine with the amount of energy they still spill out on shows. The amount of time between albums due to family and the like will increase, so the chance of a B-sides/demos compilation CD being used as a stopgap between as said albums would increase as well!

It's a possibility in the future, they've spoken of it in the past, but I wouldn't wait for it. It could be decades away!

It's not going to be in the next few years though, that's for sure. I reckon they've got a few more albums left in them yet (hopefully!)

Roling stones Mag put out a TLE "best of the B-sides" CD a few years back that had 7 or 8 of their B-sides. someone like Roling Stones Mag should compile all of the B-sides on their behalf, let them worry about the new albums.
