Dunno about the video, but the single will be released for retail sale in shops and online on Saturday 5th July. This has been mentioned in several press releases from Dew Process and The Living End.

I can understand why it's not there- it kinda takes it's queue from how do we know- the intro i mean. It would take away from how do we know I think. I know the rest of the song is totally different, but i can understand why it's not on the album.

To tell my honest opinion, and I'll probably get hate for this, I though SOE had alot of filler and unmemorable tracks. Yes, the great songs were great, but the overall album was seriously lacking.

So far, what I've heard of White Noise is blowing SOE out of the water, I'm so freakin' hyped!

Yeah, I agree. There are some really amazing songs on SOE, but, it will be the last TLE album i'll listen too out of the four. Not that it is a bad album at all, and I will listen to it before i listen to half the records in my collection. But I'm really really really loving all the stuff I'm hearing from White Noise. I feel like the b-sides have an almost novelty side to them, they're awesome, but fun (perfect choices for b-sides). And the album songs I've heard so far seem to be more mature, the complete opposite, but equally awesome at the same time. White Noise is a stella song, and would have been my top choice for a first single (yes, I like it more than Raise the Alarm!) from all the songs i've heard so far. I just can't get over how much i'm in love with this album already.

Yeah, I agree with you guys too, SOE was cool, and some of the songs were awesome, for me it just didn't seem like a remarkable ALBUM...just a collection of songs...some good, some great, some forgettable.

i think if the album was fifteen or so of the songs we heard on the longnecks tour this year then it would tie together a little, if not alot better than SOE, and to me it seems that may be the idea in making it shorter, like maybe trying to get all the good stuff that fits together on one disc...but yeah some of the ripper anthemic "living end" stuff that we all had pegged for the album hasn't made it on, which i think may be the decider. I'm thinking that will make or break this album. Either way, having another album like SOE with songs like White Noise and How Do We Know is in no way a bad thing.

That said, is anyone else gonna miss fronteir, kid, she's calling out, live to love, and rats? and november for that matter. at the moment i'm confused as to how beware the moon and some of us beat those out for album listing. I'm just hoping it all comes together so well, like self titled did - that i'll forget about the songs i'm missing.

Yeh, new Frontier was cool... but i guess it could never beat "end of the World" they were pretty simlar, and i didn't like the out of character lyrics...it could have had more substance there.
but it was still an awesome track, and i can't complain, i like uncle harry after all :P

Well, yeah I think that Rats and She's Calling Out ...and Kid could have been as good as, if not better than "CIA"...let alone some of the stuff set to be on the album.

so yeah, my bet is that it's a sacrifice for a 'whole" kinda thematic togetherness to come into White Noise....so somehow it feels more like an album this time.
