the hold steady + TLE?

So, I remember seeing in some video or reading somewhere (if no one else has heard this, I'll try and find the source) that one of the members of The Hold Steady played piano for a/some track(s) on White Noise (the album).

Now, I go to myspace.com/thelivingend, and the hold steady have an ad for their album, "Stay Positive", right under the ad for White Noise. Do you think any of TLE (e.g., cheney?) donated their time?

True... recording did take longer than anticipated, though. Maybe some sort of hold steady side-job could be a reason for that.

the hold steady album was done before the living end CD was started. So unfortunately no TLE on THS.

But on new TLE Franz Nicolay (the pianist in THS), played piano and did string arrangements.
