He's doing 2 Melby shows......one in Belgrave and the other at the Corner.

I'm guessing that Ruby's? They get some good bands there lately.

Yo homes, I got family in Belgrave, so don't be dissin'.
I should tell my aunt and uncle to go see him.

I was hoping it was Slim's "The Head Cat" project with Lemmy from Motorhead.. but it isn't :(
Saw him 16 odd years ago. That's enough for me.
And as with Lee, I'm sitting it out cos I just dont see how (given their various solo outings) the performances could live upto the Cats gigs...
Plus I'm sure all the scenesters would just shit me.
But y'all have fun now ;)

This would be fuckin awesome. Finally picked up Fool's Paradise last week. But yes... ahwell. Atleast we get to see Slim Jim.
Lee didn't organise a sydney show, so I'm missing out on him. But I'm glad Slim Jim is playing Sydney, atleast I'll get to see atleast one Stray Cat in my lifetime, cos I can't see Setzer ever coming back here.
He better have a good band behind him.
I won't be going.

This is from a Mailout I'm subscribed to
We did just receive a snippet of information from someone who went down to Melbourne for Lee Rocker's gig. It may be just gossip but the word is, if Slim Jim gets the same response as Lee Rocker did, it could spark Brian Setzer into reforming the Stray Cats and bringing a tour to Australia. We know there are thousands out there who would walk over hot coals and broken glass with bare feet to see this happen so make sure you get to the Slim Jim gigs and let them know the Stray Cats memory is still alive. Please Email this on to Rockabilly friends who may not be on our Email Newsletter list.
Lotsa love to you all, Limpin' Jimmy and The Swingin' Kitten.
..Also bought my ticket last night :)
