I saw the DVD at the music store today!!!! I'm gonna save up for it after i save enough for a little present for a really rad person first though, so it'll be awhile. But my mate who works there, says it's rad nad he said i'd get a discount. He better, especially since i was like his first "new" friend ever since he migrated from Wales. BASTARD.

haha - that might be the reason i haven't watched mine in so long!

i was wondering about that the other day!

you provided me with a solution cam - thanks! :p

*M!I'm confused ... you saying I'm off-putting? :p

Lmao, the funniest part is she was telling me yesterday how she was scanning the crowd and her first thought was 'Damn, so many hot guys, why wasn't I there!'.haha, obviously didn't mean me then.

Cam is fairly hot. I wish i was there. Me and Cam, standin up front. It;d be the main draw card of the dvd. "Cam & Glenn at Festival Hall" - Bonus Features - The Living End Concerthahahahaha

i'd never sleep again

*M!Again, hahahahah

Go to their myspace pages!!

To make it easy for you, here they are!

The Dying Start

Cam + Glenn = Jawn.

*M!
11-18-2006, 11:58 PM
so that'd mean that Cam + Glenn + Jawn = mass collapse and hysteria of both men and women alike...

wow - too hot for my brain to process after the night i've just had!

*M!

The Dying Start
11-19-2006, 12:27 PM
That's correct. Cam + Glenn + Jawn would see the world as we know it collapse in on itself.

does anyone know if it goes for the same price as the online store at live shows?

Live shows would probably be more money but getting it shipped over will probably turn out being a similar price anyway.

I'd say a few more than that....

Dill!

And to Deano: It's impossible to compare it with From Here On In. One's a doco, one's a live show!

It's a billion times better than that bodged "super gig" though!

21... i have it

and i cant compare it to "FHOI" dvd i don't have it sorry

but i think theyd both be just as good,

Aaron
11-27-2006, 11:31 AM
Sarah? Is that your name? Anyway, you just said you couldn't compare the DVDs and then proceeded to contradict yourself. There's nothing wrong with saying nothing if you don't know.

And your signature needs trimming. When it's longer than all your posts, that should be a bit of a hint.

jnine
11-27-2006, 06:04 PM
22 I have it too. I don't know about comparing them, it depends on whether you'd rather see a live concert or more behind the scenes type things, my advice would be to buy both.

The Dying Start
11-27-2006, 11:39 PM
FHOI is definately more value for money!

Amur
11-27-2006, 11:53 PM

I have it too.somewhere between Australia and Russia, but who cares :D
and I don't want to compare them too - my choice is also buy both.but FHOI is longer,so....urgh

I've got another "problem" - it's a little bored to watch it on my own.pity I haven't got friends who like TLE enough for make me a company!:( it's always funnier to watch DVDs with somebody.well, last summer I forced my friend to suffer FHOI and SOE ones.it was pretty violently method.but at least I could comment everything I see to alive person, and it even wasn't my cats :D (just imagine - "Look,Fluffy!it's my fav video clip...haha...look at Scott there!" or "Phill, stop scratch Dvd's box!better notice how awesome Chris's Gretsch looks here, with all those stickers..."

The Dying Start
12-09-2006, 11:48 AM
I have a friend called Phillip. He's not a dog. But he plays in a punk band.

My grandfather was also named Phil, however he didn't play in a punk band (although he wasn't a dog either)

Sabrestorm

Phil! You know, I have a cousin named Phil. But actually, no, he's not my cousin; and, you know, his name isn't Phil, it's...Jeff.

AlinaPOW

I've got a mate called Phil who also plays in a punk band, with some pretty codsarn amusing songs-he's quite the character, and I babysit for people who's dad's name is Phil.

Now. Enough with the Phil's. Unless someone can find someone called Phil in the credits of the dvd?

ehe...I remembered girl who wanted to call her dog "Cheney".probably,it was even in this thread!
and I've noticed that if they both (Chris and Scott) was born in the year of cat(rabbit),and Andy was born in the year of tiger,so call CATS using their names is better.Especially including "real gone cats" names so beloved in rockabily!:p

I know what you mean, Alina.

For some reason, I can't watch this too often, or listen to any audio of a TLE gig I've been too. I don't know why, I just can't. I get a funny feeling. It's weird.

Sometimes when i watch a musical performance that is SO good, or gets such a huge response from the audience, it moves me to a smiliar point. Just because the power of music is so strong, especially when it's done right. It's similar to International Sporting competition. One person, or one group of people can sometimes perform in such an amazing way that it lifts a nation. Music can do the same thing, and sometimes i feel that. Like...imagine what it would be like playing YOUR music at a festival in front of tens of thousands of people and they're all singing along to YOUR words. Magic!

Oooooh... deep. Very nicely put!
Haha, considering one of my bands is called The Mashing Clits (check us out on myspazz) and the songs all have an Uncle Harry-esque feel, lyrics wise, that'd be pretty amusing! :D

Well, also I don't have From Here on In. So which one's would you guys suggest?

I suggest From Here On In if you're interested in the history of the band, and want to know about where they began and their rise to fame etc. It has some live performances on it too and is a pretty good buy.

Live at Festival Hall is great if you just want a straight up concert DVD, and it also includes the four music videos for the singles off SOE.

I suggest FHOI if you can only get one because of it's content, but buy both if you are able to do so.
