I found an interview with Matty in the Pollyanna days in Rolling Stone and by the sounds of things they were pretty big. So how'd he end up becoming Chris' guitar tech?

When Andy joined TLE, it was kinda the end of Pollyanna because he was leaving, and the bassist got pregnant. In an interview I think Andy put it like that Matty followed him along to TLE hehe. :p

Amur - Yes, he does look rather skinny in the first few lots of photos..where the heck have his arms gone too?!??! His head looks normal, but the read of his body looks way out of proportion! :p
