OK I have a question about the following photo because it has been bugging me for a long time now...

Take a very good look at the photo..

(No this is gonna sound like im being a smartass but im not!!!) but take a look between Chris's legs.

There is clearly some sort of base coming from the floor, which is also covered in carpet.

And it kinda does look like chris is sitting down.

Also note his injured knee, its actually bloody.. No its not from car accident! Scars are not still bleeding 5 years later :p When I made the pic bigger it looked like a fresh injury.

So its very likely that chris might actually be sitting down ???? But I cant imagine it cos I remember in an interview he said he'd never sit down and play a gig (about recovering from his car crash), And also if he was hurt and sitting down, his microphone would obviously be placed right infront of is face, when sitting down playing guitar you dont have much room to move, so if he was performing sitting down we would see a microphone/stand in that photo but we clearly dont see one..

I think he's too far forward to be sitting on it..he's not THAT far forward, but he's not back quite far enough to be sitting.

It certainly is an odd photo, Chris' legs don't look right at all. It's like he's jumped and landed in that 'motorbike' position (you know, when you jump from a high spot and you have to land with your legs bent) as they call it haha!

This might be lurking in this thread somewhere (I wouldn't know how to go about finding it other than meticulously checking every page), but does anyone have/remember that picture of the boys with Greenday when they were opening for them on their 95 tour of Australia?? (They were touring for Hellbound, so this is still with Joe). Since I found that cool pic of Chris, Scott and Joe leaning against the wall I've become fascinated in alot of the oldies. The Hellbound/IFYOG era is the most mysterious/titillating (yeah that's right, I said it) period for me, other than Roll On.

Additionally, I know they were done for the radio, so maybe (re: definitely) this is a retarded question, but are there any images from any of their Live At The Wireless performances?? The 2000 one is one of my favorite ever TLE performances, it'd just be cool to see.

P.S. I live in the states, and our radio never does anything remotely as interesting as those LATW...I've been streaming triple J online lately and getting a kick out of all the Aussie music that never even blips on American radar, for such a large station it seems to play a decent VARIETY (imagine that) of pretty left-of-center stuff, so I'm curious...how is Triple J viewed in Oz? Is it just your average massive bloated corporate rock station that all the mainstream zealots listen to? (that would be k-roq for us) Or is it something more hip and alternative?

And JJJ has its good points (supporting live and oz music and especially TLE) but i think i'm too old to put up with their crap these days...

i asked the guy if his name was trevilian (james bond movies) because his securty tag was 006 and he told me if i said another word he would not let me in but then he did kick someone else out of the line :p

I can't stand people who get all power trippy like that; people grab onto the tiniest bit of authority they can. Very enraging.

I had a all access artist pass at Soundwave, same with Paul, and we got stopped by security asking why we wern't wearing the blue wristbands you get at the gate when you give your tickets, and we showed him our passes, and he said obviously because we wern't wearing wristbands, we had jumped the fence and stolen those passes, and kicked us out. Had to call the promoter to get back in, then same thing happened again, cause the first douche blacklisted the numbers on our passes!
