if that's the band themselves on those backdrops, then that's the fruitiest thing I've ever seen.

I'm not much of a band photo person, in fact I kind of blow at it (esp. if there's a beer in the other hand) but I'm pretty sure that Tom from Bodyjar/Burn the City is the most photogenic person ever. whee.

The gig I went to was 18+. I went (got dragged along too! :p) with a few friends. I didn't really have a choice cause I was staying at one of their houses. Plus it was cheap to get in and we had a good time anyway!

Umm, if I do, I'll be seeing them play at Curly's Bar in Hobart.

So far this year, I've seen TLE x3, Kisschasy, Hilltop Hoods, Evermore, Bernard Fanning, ummm, thats about all, I think. There has been a few others that I could've gone to, but I had to work or something.

Aaaah you serious!? Where? I could've seen 'em on saturday but it was just waaaay too inconvenient and i wouldn't've been allowed to anyway considering i'd seen Zombie Ghost Train the night before. My parents reckon i'm out of control with my gig going. They're nuts. All i've been to this year is TLE, then ZGT, ZGT again, DC instore, TLE x2 and then ZGT on friday. That's it!

Alina, I'm the same, except minus the Dallas Crane and ZGT on Friday, But now... no more gigs for me for at least another year and 4 months. :( They thought i was gettig way too over the top too... must have been cos of you "bad influences"!!!

A Finnish band called Reverend Bizarre. They're absolutely crazy fellas, I was helping them with the merch and then mucked around while they loaded up the van and I had to bugger off home. Unfortunately the first and last time to see them, it was their farewell tour.

Top tip though guys, don't use a film SLR while really drunk. You might set the ISO wrong, or have really unsteady hands, or just be too drunk to use it properly in general and then waste almost a whole film..

Turns out my film was 100 or 200, and I had it set at 400 from the previous film I shot. Most of the lights were red, so the face/head is just a red shape unfortunately.

Last time I saw the D.O.W play, they had TV Rock onstage with them. I was disappointed.

The lens is covered with schmutz, because I use it at work and it gets covered in dust, alcohol and is shared amongst staff each night. And that effected the quality of the photos. If only I could have smuggled the DSLR in :(

Yeah, they're pretty good! Saw them with Yves Klein Blue last month and then again with Dappled Cities.

I heard quite a few people commenting on their part of the Dappled Cities gig the other week - all positive feedback too. They've got their debut album out in a month and their EP is a pretty good listen.

And - your Bone Rattlers tracks will be on the way soooon. Like tomorrow soon.

actually, I love shooting at big venues much more (Palmer's gig, for example). We were allowed to shoot during whole show so it was great. In small venues you have to stand in crowd, unable to move and that is really irritating. Lighting wasn't really good, too, but it was better than at Garage where TLE were performing in Oslo.:sleep: Because of small stage I had to use wide angle lens 10-22mm, and it's only f3.5-4.5! Ergh.

I want to see Firebird again! They were awesome when they played down here a few months back!

On sat night I saw the Philadelphia Grand Jury. Took some shots. Most are crap because they only had the standard house lights and most photos turned out pure red, not a single other colour in them! But I managed to rescue some of them a little.
