Roger Waters Australian Tour!

Roger Waters, infamous Pink Floyd writer, lyricist, vocalist and bass player of Pink Floyd (or the "key creative force") is kicking off his 2007 World Tour next year in Australia.

Dates are:
THURSDAY JANUARY 25 SYDNEY ACER ARENA
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 1 MELBOURNE ROD LAVER ARENA
MONDAY FEBRUARY 5 BRISBANE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 7 ADELAIDE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 9 PERTH MEMBERS EQUITY STADIUM
TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY OCTOBER 27

Not sure how much it will cost.

But I'm sure it will be a fair bit. But worth every penny.

If your not in the BDO for tool, then you can leave about 8pm, walk across the road and catch Roger Waters.

Im thinking of getting Gold tickets, though Platinum is mighty tempting.

There is no support act for this event...

Are you sure about no support act Kev?

A lot of the times though they don't print out the support act on the ticket and announce it later.

i left the sydney bdo a bit early & actually snuck into this concert!! a dude dropped his already used ticket from the cafe in the superdome & i talked my way in!! although his bitch wife wouldnt give hers to my friend...so even though i tried to bribe the ticketek guy to let him he wouldnt...so i went in by myself & saw 4 songs before i went back out to my friend.
what i saw was bloody amazing!!! my dad saw the whole show and said it was fantatsic! i really wish i couldve seen more!!

It was fan-fucking-tastic.

Easily the best gig I've ever been to. I don't care if I don't see another gig this year.

Setlist as follows.

FIRST HALF: In The Flesh, Mother, Set The Controls For the Heart Of The Sun, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Have A Cigar, Wish You Were Here, Southampton Dock, The Fletcher Memorial Home, Perfect Sense parts 1 and 2, Leaving Beirut, Sheep.
SECOND HALF: Dark Side of the Moon. ENCORE: The Happiest Days Of Our Lives, Another Brick In The Wall (Pt 2), Vera, Bring the Boys back Home, Comfortably Numb.


I bootlegged the concert on my phone, video/audio. Video came through nice and the audio was very clear, not distorted or anything (its a Nokia N91 so has fantastic audio/video features)
