OK i know this really isnt the sort of style that Chris and most of you play, but youve got to try everything right?

For you newbies, if youve got power tab Google a song Called "Crossroads eugines trick bag - Steve Vai Power Tab", There really is not better way to Explain Sweep picking than just listening to that song

Anyways, i was wondering if any of the Better Players here knew good ways to Sweep Major Chords,
Ive got Minors and 7ths down fine, but the placement of Major notes doesnt fit unless you have massive hands. Ive searched googler for half an hour, all i found was lessons for beginers and no use of major Chords, at least full 6 string ones.

I tried combining different major sweep patterns, but yeh, i still cant find something that works, anyone?

the solo for sleep on it has a bit in there, well the only way i've been able to play it is by sweeping, but it's not something i do often.

there's a trick to play a 6 string major chord at any fret, but it does require big hands, but i don't do this kinda stuff, so it's probably not what you're after

A major and minor triad is only seperated by one semitone... But the way I play it makes a major arpeggio less of a stretch than a minor one...

A major arpeggio

e--------------------------5----(9)----5-------------------
b----------------------5------------------5-----------------
g-------------------6------------------------6--------------
d----------------7------------------------------7-----------
a---------4--7------------------------------------7--4-----
e------5--------------------------------------------------5-

A minor arpeggio

e--------------------------5----(8)----5-------------------
b----------------------5------------------5-----------------
g-------------------5------------------------5--------------
d----------------7------------------------------7-----------
a---------3--7------------------------------------7--3-----
e------5--------------------------------------------------5-
