Hey, new here

I've been listening to TLE since... hmm... 10th grade... '02 ish. Yah. Then I really didn't much untill 03-04 coz my friend made a CD of a lot of their songs. Then Modern ARTillery finally came out and was stoked, then SoE, woot

I live in the US which is why I didn't listen to them, MA was the 1st CD I believe to be relesed Stateside

I saw them 2ce for their SoE tour in the States, I was at the aug 17th and 18th shows. The 19 was their last shows in the States in San Fransisco... obviously a 700mi drive north was NOT in order, lol

Hey everyone, I'm Jake.

Used to be a country kid (Coober Pedy, heard of it?), now live in Adelaide.

Definitely new to the TLE scene, I have heard a few of their major songs in the past such as Second Solution and POS but only really started paying attention around May this year when they came through on their SOE tour.

Oh, better mention that I'm a MAD Star Wars fan (Yes I do have my own Jedi Robes, and yes I do wear them in public if the need arises)
To better explain that, I'm part of a group that meets online, called the SAFF (South Australian Fan Force) and we do charity work dressed as Star Wars characters. Best. Job. Ever.

I also spend way too much time playing computer games and love cricket.

My favourite living end song is Carry Me home, Followed by Killing The Right. They're all good though :P

I own over 100 cd's.
I always lose guitar picks and never recover them.

Settle down a bit May, we aren't in school anymore it's ok. Besides it's acceptable to slip up a bit with the grammar on a forum every so often. However it's not acceptable to use bad spelling on a forum makes things harder to understand. So please stop waiting for me to slip up with my grammar and pointing it out to me. As long as I'm spelling my words correctly which I have been doing then, I don't think it matters. Also I'd like to point out by my perfectionist remark in my introduction, That doesn't apply to grammar or spelling. It actually applies to things such as; When I'm playing guitar or designing a website, jumping down seven sets of stairs or wiping out a protected endangered species. Just joking I can't jump down seven sets of stairs.

I'm new to this forum but have been into The Living End since about 1999/2000 (I can't remember which year it was) when a pen pal taped their self-titled album for me. I used to bounce around the hallway listening to it on my walkman. :o

Anyway my name is Kirsty, I'm a kiwi student from Greymouth, New Zealand. I like a lot of stuff such as music, reading, writing, taking photos, watching tv, hanging out with mates etc etc.

I saw The Living End at Edgefest in ChCh earlier this year. I'd been waiting so long to finally see them live and was not disappointed. Wish they had of played for longer though. Got to meet them which was cool.
Am looking forward to seeing them live next month.

Yeah I didn't think I'd get to meet them either but I was so stoked that I did, had an ear to ear grin on my face.

I met these 2 guys there who were big TLE fans and were in front of me in the autograph line. While standing in line I watched them practise bowing in Wayne's World style and I thought 'They're not?!'
Anyway after they went up I saw one of the Edge people laughing and I realised that they had done the whole 'We're not worthy' bowing thing to the band.

We are Olya & Vira "Madtwins" from Ukraine.
We new to this board but this is our third time when we signed on TLE board. First time it was on 2004 but our english was too bad for catching the line of any topic. But now we are joined and we are joyfull and continuing to study forum and themes.
We are old school punk'a'billy girls. TLE is our #3 best favourite band (after Mad Heads and Mike Ness+Social D). We intruduced with TLE music with first album in 2001. Our favourite album is "Roll on", and our favourite songs are: Second solution, West end riot, Prisoner of society, One Said To The Other, All torn Down, What Would You Do, Pictures In the Mirror, Dirty man, Wake up and more and more :)
We love and we are good in drawing. We make rock art, CD booclets, T-shirts, underground clothing design. But we like also a simply drawing - comix, fun pictures, portraits of friends. We made it buy hands and on computer.
Also our big passion it's 2D classical animation. We study it buy ourselves to do it. For present day we made a four full-fledged cartoons ( mostly music videos) and a lot of other works for friends or just for fun. Our music videos are uploaded on our myspace profile: www.myspace.com/madtwins
We huge fans of STAR WARS from age of 8.
Basically main part of our lifetime it's Mad Heads band. So we talking alot about them. Sorry ;)
