Great at Brixton last night - really good vibe and lots of Living End fans there!
Roll Call! Were you there?!
What did Chris say about the future after he say they had no record deal in the UK? I didn't catch it.
Respect to all of you who travelled from far and wide. I got the number 3 bus back home in 5 minutes.
It was an amazing gig, after my initial problems re-photo pass/guest pass (Yvonne, Martin, you know what I'm ranting about!)
Everything was fixed in time for TLE coming on, and I was taking photos. Laura, nice to meet you!! I've got about 100 shots to get through (and slightly less of LTJ and DKM) but I'll put them up here in the next fews days hopefully.
They definitely managed to win over some the crowd, and I noticed there was already a significant following (I saw a few MA and earlier tshirts in the crowds!)
From the jist of what Chris said on stage, and when I spoke later, they haven't got a record deal in the UK or Europe - so the album hasn't officially been released here, but that they want to make a push here.

Glad it rocked, I'm looking forward to Exeter on Tuesday and maybe grabbing a beer with the best band on the planet!

dammit. if it was later that week I'd send you my photos on a CD to give to them..... I gotta have a look at express prices....
Si, you most definitely won't be disappointed. They're still on top form, and had a fantastic crowd reaction last night. Have fun!

I forgot to add that was my first TLE gig, though the Festival Hall dvd had me well prepared. Fuss was all worth it.
I suppose with only a few minutes to play with they had to go for the high impact songs. I would love to see a longer gig to see a bit more of the variation and subtlety that they have.
LTJ and DKM were entertaining but they don't have the range TLE do.

Great photos Jake!
Thanks, I'm pretty proud of these ones, using a fantastic (borrowed) camera - which was much better than my old one that broke.. Photo pass came in handy, and a magazine might have an interest in them!

Great photos Jake!
Yeah! They're awesome! I especially like the big dark one of Andy behind his kit, (this one (http://www.blankroll.com/gal/2/67/84.jpg)), really cool sense of space. Or something :p

That's my fave one too. I love it so so so so so SO much! :p
When I first saw it, it looked as though there was some water in front of the drums, but its just the floor and light reflection!
