I'm going to the last Melbourne gig.

Should be good. It's been a few years since I last saw them. Though they were kinda boring back then.


If there was a thread about this already, shoot me, err I mean delete this one.


I'm going to miss out on Kings Of Leon though, because I'm leaving home at 530pm and its almost a 2 hour trip from Gippsland to Crown Casino (where Im parking) then the short walk to Rod Laver.

I'd leave earlier, but a friend I'm going with doesnt finish work until 530

I wouldn't mind seeing them live, but its not going to happen!
I remember when I was in Melb back in May for the TLE shows and seeing a Pearl Jam tour poster plastered up on the wall.

My sister-in-law saw them at the first Melbourne show (got fee tix :p) and I think my brother said she thought it was very good. She had seats right up the back though.

I think they played for about 2 hours. Had one longish set, then a break, followed but two shorter sets with another break inbetween.

one of the ladies that's in the play with me went to the sydney show - i think her ears are still ringing apparently

she didn't actually go into how they were - just that they and the support was loud!

i know some people that would have liked to go see them - don't know if that actually happened though...

That looks like it was a long show! I saw them in an arena in July and then they did a secret club show for about 1000 people and I was at the very front up against the security. Even with earplugs I almost went deaf but they were great. It was the hottest I think I have ever been. Eddie kept having cases of water brought out and had security pour them on us and then hold them up high and poured so we could drink some. Then Eddie shared his wine with the whole front row. For their third encore they had Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols come out with them and they did a Ramones song. It was incredible.

I had tickets to the Brisbane show... but then I sold them.
I kind of bought them on a whim.

Ive had my tickets since the day they went on sale (about 6 months ago?) I cant believe i havent lost the ticket yet.
