If it were nearby, and cheapish, I'd go. But it's not, so I won't.

I'll be up for a Sydney Flogging Molly or Go Gol Bordello show if it happens.
I'd go only for 3 artists:
Taj Mahal, Bo Diddley and Tony Joe White.
And perhaps Dave Matthews, only if Victor Wooten played with him.

Flogging Molly better do side shows. So exciting!!!!!!
Its an ok lineup, but its pretty average.
Not enough Blues love for me, especially considering its a blues festival.

yes, it made me feel that little bit warmer inside. It's possible, at least according to me, that this board is drying up. I"m finding i'm running out of things to say. IT's most likely all these young uns, but it seemed to be more fun back in 05 laughing at john and dave battling it out, and at various other stupid things. What do you reckon?
yeah agreed. it sucks these days. I dont really read any of it any more. I pretty much never go upstairs to general endness. i just read off topic, and then its only about three threads.
I'm still here ed, I just didnt bother replying because I didn't actually go to the Festival.
We can make up our own festival though, and pretend we went and talk about it. Oh man. How good was that set by Frank Zappa's moustache? Whoever knew facial hair could play the mariamba so fluently??

I'm still tryin to figure out why I keep coming back to any of it. Endness all just seems like the same post to me these days.
And while I(like Ed)'d like to put it down to simply being the newbies, I think the bands missing wow factor these days (particularly live *waits for the "TLE are the best" newbie replies*) doesnt help the overall lack of enthusiasm that I've noticed in the longer term fan base.
Meh

Adele...I remember when you first joined. You were Adele Punks not dead, and you were flipping out over meeting the band at live n local 05.
I need to make an exclusive thread for "old-timers". i'd need an idiot detecting mechanism on it though, perhaps a grammar & spelling test. And a logic test.
Man...I dunno...

Meh
meh, indeed.
as dissapointed as I am by these boards, I have a feeling that even if I went and got a life, i'd STILL find time to come and be saddened by this wreck.

Haha, how embarrassing. Yeah.
Prior to ever joining the board I went on TLE Chat most nights for a few months.
