i am flogging of my Gretsch Black Falcon if anyone is interested. Fritz has seen it at Guitar crazy when they were installing the TV Jones Pickups for me i will supply pictures. Im asking $3900. If anyone is interested i live in Sydney and if you would like to play it give me a call at work 02-82663227. The reason you may ask is huge Credit card debt plain and simple.

Good luck selling. Do NOT resort to ebay like I did. ( i had to sell a couple to buy a new car a month ago). I had top of the line 6120s that only sold for $2k each.
If you can wait it out, then consign it at guitar crazy. it'll sell there, and probably not sell at most other 'new' kinda stores around sydney. Plus I doubt many places would touch a falcon, however GC specialise in that kinda gear. No squire packs there my friend...

They've got a pretty good left-hand range too by the looks of things...

If you do decide to put it on eBay, set up a fake account so you can keep outbidding potential buyers until it reaches the amount you want for it. They will ban your account if they catch you doing it but meh its always worked for me.

the problem with shill bidding is that if the person decides they're not going to out bid you, it's going to cost you in time, customers, and ebay fees

yeah but your fake account could just not pay the money and then you could report they didnt pay then ebay bans the fake account then your back to sqaure 1 :D

except that you need a permanent email account tied to an ISP or a credit card to create an ebay account.

or you could get one of us to bid it up for you, then if it doesn't go high enough right before the end we'll make a rediculous bid and agree not to pay. would that work? you'd be better advertising it in a magazine mate; advertise it in guitarist or something- I've heard so much positive feedback about people who do that.

Wouldn't you hate it if one of the boarders here was an undercover ebay officer.

boo hoo, what are they going to do? there's no contract there- ebay relies almost solely on the feedback. If you don't pay up theres nothing much they can do to get you to pay except give you negative feeback.
