I've already started organising with mates to fly to Brisbane for this.

Given their recent tour together, are TLE a possibility for a support slot, or are they touring elsewhere at the time?

It's going to be a bitch to get out of uni for this but it'll definately be worth it.

I was thinking that. And if they DO end up supporting.... I'm actually going to CRY.

I will be at the Melbourne show at the Palace.

Surrender the fantasy of The Living End "opening" for Dropkick Murphys, peoples. It won't happen. If it does I'd be very lucky, and very suprised, but I can't see it happening.

Maybe in the UK and Ireland they can support but here in Oz it'd be the other way around!

AlinaPOW

Well it's not like they haven't supported in recent years...
But yeah, I know it's a fat chance.

Erik

i wouldn't want TLE to support. You need all the energy you can get when DKM play, such a fun band to sing along to

AlinaPOW

Haha, yeah that's a good point. I use up every ounce of energy for TLE!
I remember after the September 21st gig this year we were talking to Rae and I literally just lay down in the middle of the Palace. That was amusing :D

I have a ticket safely in my keeping!

They really hit you with the booking fee though! I got mine for $55 and ticketek had them advertised at $48.20!

I'd be inclined to start a countdown but unfortunately this thread isn't just for the Melbourne show! :(

Erik

i can't freakin wait too. Them at the metro was my fav gig of all time.

i'll be coming out of mosh retirement and jumping singing along with everyone else!

Outlaw Love Song

Same here......on both counts. The Metro was amazing but from all accounts the 2002 show at the Corner was much better.

Think I went and saw the (International) Noise Conspiracy that night instead but I heard the Corner band room looked like a cyclone had gone through it after the stage invasion for "Spicy McHaggis Jig"!

I might even get in the pit at the Palace as well! I'll be loosing up the steel capped Docs!

Erik
