I've got a way to rip the Take 40 vids, just playing around with the settings so it comes out right though. Providing my net starts to be reliable, I should have a batch uploaded tonight (late tonight).

The how to:
I'm just using a screen recorder (Deskshare's version of it) to capture the video as it's played. Took me a while to find a program that had a 'select speakers as record device' option and for it to actually work. The trial version has a watermark on it, but that problem was solved :cool:

it doesnt... it was the first thing i tried...
it SHOULD work... it comes up with the videos and their sizes... but when u try and dd them it just says they r 1 byte... an empty text file... :/

ye, id have used snagit, because i think that can do video screen capture as well... lol

but i really want to be able to properly rip it...

iv even dld the swf files and decompiled them to see if there is any code in them... but there is not code in them!! its really bizarre... the only thing i have been ablke to find is 2 separte javascript files, which create the links for the videos, but im unsure of how to use something like that... lol :/

To edit the video I used Virtual Dub. I guess I used the wrong compression format.

Without it being compressed it was gonna be about 3 GBs.

and sorry, i dont have a higher quality one. I threw out the dvd because i didnt think i would be needing it again, considering I have the episode on my computer.

For people without video, try this (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?strState=LIVE&ProductID=355&DwnldID=2846). You need the iv50 codec (intel video). Haven't tried this myself since I've got a full quality version anyway.
