It turns out that the Audio quality i set with the video is a bit too high and it sounds a bit over the top, you can even hear a slight echo in there which i dont want. Im going to go with a 64KB Per Second Audio rip as well. The video will be 30 Frames Per Second however.

ive got the other 3 videos on disc, they are waiting for a good rip but i cant seem to find a good one. I thought Aimersoft would do a good job of it, its just the Video quality that's top notch. The audio is shocking.

I think I might be able to get this done by the end of the night. But uploading of them wont happen until tomorrow probably.

It's uploading now but going really sporadically for some reason. Apparently it'll be half an hour more so we'll see. 66mb and I think I need to play around with the more advanced settings to get any more quality out of it, seems to hit a wall where any higher bitrate just bloats the file.

I just use Dr. Divx. Really easy to use program, although I'll have to find out how to change more advanced settings. It won't rip from dvd afaik but I record the stuff on my computer anyway and this program doesn't crap out with widescreen.

I'm having trouble with Dr. DivX, when it says its analysing the bar just stops when its near the end.

Okay, I got it working, but I don't know how to split the video with that software, I'm gonna have to use movie maker, its not the absolute BEST but it gets the job done.

I don't think you can split files in Dr DivX, if it's an mpeg then I split it with MpegVCR since it doesn't need to re-encode it.

If your DVD Recorder is old and wont burn disks, I got an idea, Hook it up to your new one. Play the thing and Record AV on your new dvd recorder.

I have a question as to whether there are more than two videos floating around for a particular concert...depending on how the video(s) are labeled, it's either the Tibetan Freedom Concert, or the Tour Of Duty (both in 99), but it's definitely the same concert, because the stage setup, crowd, and clothes the band is wearing are all the same.

The two songs I have found are Bloody Mary (which generally is easier to find) and Second Solution...the clips are from a broadcast on [V]...one of your fancy Australian music channels, I guess. It seems odd that they would have only broadcast only those two songs, and from the nature of the way the clips end it seems as if it just cut off before the next song started, almost like someone edited up what was broadcast as a whole into seperate songs...at the end of Second Solution, you can hear Trav starting up the drum intro for West End Riot...

Does anybody know if the rest of this set is floating out there anywhere, or even what it was?? I remember for a while the only individual video I could find from The Roundhouse was Uncle Harry. I'd love to find the rest of this tibetan freedom show, though...it's a mad performance, judging from those two songs...Trav at his deranged, in all likelihood coked-up best.

I commented in one of the youtube videos about how the title is wrong. The vids with the Army doods is Tour of Duty and the other is TFC.

Tour of Duty was only WER, ATD, Jinglebell Rock (with Kylie) and She keeps no secrets (with Doc Neeson) and the Long Way to the top and take a long line from the end of the concert featured Chris on guitar.

Glenn kindly ripped Second Solution and bloody mary for us (as well as the TOD stuff)...don't think there are any other vids around at the moment from that show...

The two videos from the Tibetan Freedom Concert aired on a "The Living End Hour Of Power" special on Channel V just following the 2003 Big Day out. The special show featured most of the Big Day Out set interspliced with legit music videos and other live footage from the Channel V vault. Preumably a fair chunk of the Tibetan Set would have aired on V at the time the concert was performed, but it was never ripped. Those two tracks are the only two that I'm aware have been aired since.

The problem with MoshCam is that they have no Hi or Lo setting, it's all pretty mediocre when it comes to video quality. I'd have a bash at ripping it, but i've killed my download limit for this month...i could possibly do it at work, but you'll have to wait a day or two.

In other news, I've been going in to battle for you cunts, AGAIN. I noticed on the website of a now defunct video ripping community that they had 5 tracks from the Port Pirie One Night Stand Show. I did a bit of 1337 hacking and managed to source an email for the guy who owns the domain. I emailed him and sweet talked him and he agreed to get in contact with the ripper to see if he still had the vids. Long story short, he uploaded the videos to a website dump for me to grab.

The other thing with moshcam is they use a custom flash player for the entire site, so you cant even use somthing like hidownload to download the stream, and the only way i can think of doing it is by using camstudio or simillar to take a recording of the screen,

but my connection is that slow i wouldnt trust it not to start buffering mid song which would be annoying to say the least,

in other news im up to How Do We Know, for the audio rip :D

I'm sorry that you can administor the thread yourself Chelsea. I even tried to give you the ability to do it via admin control panel, but i can't find the switch.

Luckily i did the same thread on the last forum and i was just as pedantic, so it shant get out of hand...actually mine had file sizes and everything...yeah..take that disorganised Canadian.

I did the uploads pretty much all at once via Megamanager, and worded everything on WordPad. Was going to do technical editing later.

nah, I tried that, and also orbit, and one other program and they all got connection errors for me.

anyway, file size is 0.3GB not 3GB. :happy: I miscalculated.
