I have a built in HD tuner on my laptop. its uber slow to load and skips alot. fail :laugh:

Yeah it's a HD tuner card in my computer, finally found another program to use it with though so in theory that means no more recordings will screw up *touches wood*
I do have a dual HD tuner set top box which acts as a backup (transfer files via the network), the format it saves the files has a slightly different header to mpeg but ProjectX changes it back to a usable file.

They are incredibly useful, and so much better quality than normal TVs, provided you don't get one with rubbish software *cough* Compro *cough*.

May I post the Demo Version of How Do We Know? I found out how to record stuff directly through my speakers and I got good quality from it. If you don't know its on the band's facebook.

I personally find it to be much better than the album version. Especially the ending :D

Yup - the Triple J version lacks the repeat of the "verse riff" before launching into the solo, whereas the album version has it in there. Pretty sure that was the only difference... though it's been a while since I've listened to it (I think I've lost it :p).

Demo version is pretty ragin'. Was it up on their facebook page before they recorded it for the album, and we missed it..? Put up the Loaded Gun demo! I miss the drums in the final pre-chorus (as played on the Longnecks tour) - they had an awesome bounce to them, but the snare fill suits the flow of the song better. I would KILL to hear any other demos of White Noise tracks, seriously. SERIOUSLY.
