18+ ... although they might be lazy there with checking ID. The one time I went I didn't know where the entrance was so I ended up going through the back/side door where the bands enter.
4pm.. that makes me assume it's all ages. You might be in luck Alina!
*Eh, sorry. :p

4pm.. that makes me assume it's all ages. You might be in luck Alina!I think it may be 4pm to fit in all bands and because of Sunday night. But ring them up and ask. I'd be interested to know.

The Tote don't do all ages. :(
A few of us walked right into the tote the other day, all clearly under 18 and nobody even looked up so if you get in before the gig starts you probably won't get noticed.
But I don't wanna get the tote in shit or anything if I get caught so I don't think I'll bother.

Don't encourage them Cam...

Haha, keep the encouragement coming Cam!
Dude, a promoter/organiser who's name I won't disclose advised me to get a fake id the other day so I could get into one of his gigs :D
Yeah but the whole point of over 18s shows is that people under 18 dont go. The point isn't for under 18s to get a fake ID so they can get into the show.
Stay at home, read a book.

Way ahead of you! Ally got me a Batman novel for Merry January and I'm well immersed in it :D
Pfffft, 'sif I need gigs when I have Bruce Wayne!

Don't encourage them Cam...Sorry. Anyway, if they did that, somebody would still see them inside and decide if they think they're 18+ or not.
All you U/18s could have just not gone to gigs until you were 20 like me. That would solve the problem :)

How? Scummy ten letters

How?You wouldn't worry about whether a gig was 18+ or not? *shrugs* Also, by time you're 18, you would have saved a heap of money, so when you go to gigs you don't have to worry about the cost. Well that works for me :p
Ah but what if we die before we're 18? Then we have all this money but no gigs to spend it on :p

Do you reckon they'll have a free BBQ? I remember there was arvo gig like this on a while ago that included a BBQ. It starts at 4pm and if I don't have my dinner I'll be hungry :p

Wait, do you have a gig fund? Not really, but because I was a tight-arse all my life and never really spent my money (or had anything to spend it on), it's never really been a problem when I want to go to gig. Plus, now I'm working full time too :)

Any word on it?
Make sure you have a will done so that somebody else can enjoy the money. :)
Don't you have to be over 18 to make a will?

Haha, they played Headlines. Any good?
Sounds like a pretty good gig. Would've gone if A) I had read about it earlier than a minute ago... B) I wasn't a year off the appropriate age...
Anyway, feedback? Clearly I'm too lazy to look up the bands myself. So tell if they were any good or not.

Feedback? Runaway Boys should have headlined. They had the best crowd and the best set. There were actually people on the dancefloor for them!
Yes, their version of headlines was pretty good!
That is all.
how were the dirty mits? i heard they are awesome!
Runaway boys are pretty cool when i saw them last time.

I liked Runaway Boys the best. Great energy on stage. They also played Rumble in Brighton? (correct me if I'm wrong) My other favourites were The Vaudevillians and Platform Orange.
Definitely Runaway Boys though ... maybe because they played some covers so I actually knew some songs. But they're great to see. I'd see them again.

There's been so much hype about Runaway Boys lately, can't wait to see them! (it'll happen!) The Vaudevillians added me on myspazz and they sound pretty cool. My friend's mates with Dirty Mits but I still haven't been to any gigs. That is all.
