Nice lineup. My year is getting pretty packed already, but I'll try to squeeze this in.

I'd go if it were on Monday which is the public holiday..

I'd only go for Fire Underground and to support Inertia. Kinda dissapointing, I've been looking forward to the line up being announced for ages and there's nothing there for me :(

Yeah same, I only really like Horsell Common and Trial Kennedy out of that list and I can see them pretty regularly for around the $10 or under price range.

Not sure if you saw Mammal at Pyramid, but they're good too. I've also seen Angela’s Dish and Fire Underground (actually you have too I think) and they're good. And I wouldn't mind seeing Karnivool again.

Fire Underground are pretty cool.

I interviewed Daniel for the last Pushover. Was a good bloke to chat to. Even If I did manage to loose half the questions.

Bec

Yeah I saw Fire Underground back in December but was actually a bit disappointed to be honest. And Mammal are alright but I don't really like them or any of the other bands playing enough for the ticket price, especially since I'm being stingy and saving for a double bass :p

Fair enough :) On the other hand, I'm going to too many gigs - check my myspazz calendar ...

Bec

You're going to more than me! So far I have nothing planned unless I miraculously win Big Day Out tickets in the next 3 days or so.

Why the fuck isn't it at Luna Park?

Anyway, I guess I'll go. I've wanted to see Silverchair for quite some time now. I've been to the past two so I may as well make it tradition...

Bec

That's okay :) I might be able to get a position volunteering at the event since I'm in a freeza group and they said they had a few positions available, so I'm hoping I get that. If not then I won't bother going.

Just a general warning:

DO NOT purchase tickets from a guy called Hilly or Hillyproductions.

Most of his "AAA" tickets are fake.

you can see his myspace: www.myspace.com/hillyproductions

He's got 4x sold out tickets to this event. The event went on sale today at 9am but has not sold out.

Got mine today. It was so odd not having to get up/line up hours early for tickets this time. It made for a nice change.

Anybody know how many tickets in total are sold for this? Not that it matters for me, I've got my tickets. But just out of interest. :)

Bloody hell.

Last weekend I went to Missing Link and I asked the guy if they sold Push Over tickets. He said they were supposed to but the tickets hadn't arrived yet and that they'd probably come the next day or something.

So I went to Missing Link this weekend (so a week later) and asked about tickets and the dude says they don't have tickets yet!!! Grrrrr.

I'll try to go to a Ticketek....

Thanks!
Do you know what FReeZA is?

Bec
02-12-2007, 09:45 PM
I'm pretty sure Cam knows what it is :)
How much do you get off yours? Ours still cost $55 through FReeZA..
But if anybody wants me to get one through there for them I can, there's no booking fee.

jessebelle
02-12-2007, 09:53 PM

I've got 'til next monday to get the money, but i can do it!
We should all meet up somewhere??

Bec
02-12-2007, 10:16 PM
If you want to, you should ask your freeza leader about volunteering there. The Push people sent out stuff saying that they were looking for a few freeza people to work there or something, you might not get in but it's worth a shot. :)

jessebelle
02-12-2007, 10:17 PM
I'll talk to them when I'm next around hastings or have the time to call them. Or just wait until monday.

Bec
02-15-2007, 01:58 PM
YAY! I got accepted to volunteer at Pushover :D

Apparantly I will be working in Production as a Morning Assistant. Not too sure what this involves yet but I'm excited!

Bec

And thanks Nicole!

Bec you live out in that unholy suburb, how am I s'posed to travel THERE for regular meetings silly?

Bec
02-16-2007, 09:00 PM
You're not, it's not even in the same council area as me.. the freeza group in my area isn't cool enough to put on ZGT gigs.

The one I'm in is in Camberwell, where the ZGT gig we put on was.

I thought it was a great lineup. My favourite was probably Mammal. Saw every band on main stage and Fire Underground on smaller stage. I'll upload photos and videos tomorrow most likely.

EDIT: Mammal - Inciting to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L7YvKbQaFg

I have videos from most bands from main stage and also Fire Underground. Let me know if there's any requests.
