Maaaw. Globe World Cup 2004 was one helluva of a day! Hell yeah!
My friend's aunty worked at Globe at the time and was literally best friends with Gary Valentine so that was cool, and dude, Bam was there! And I got dared to yell out "SHECKLER IS HOT!!" As Sheckler was going down the massive vert, I got paid $2. Hey, it was a big thing when I was 13!

I'm going through my photos now and they're all so shonky.
It would have been the day from hell for them, probably.

Their plane got messed up, so they pretty much arrived a day light straight off a 22 hour flight and went straight to the instore.
The staff at shitty beach were all absolute nazis.
And half the people there were complete wanks to them.

Then there was no power at the demo site.
None of them had their own boards.
The electrician didn't turn up.
And then it just started pissing rain so bad.

So the whole thing got rained out. Sucks.
