Welcome to the May news from The Living End.

Well, so much has happened since the last installment of the news that it feels as though it has been forever. Buckle up for European news, releases, photos, festivals and more!

The Raise the Alarm Tour is officially underway. Proceedings kicked off last Friday, May 1st at the Brisbane Riverstage. The last minute venue change didn't seem to phase punters who were well and truly ready for an epic rock show. It went off, but if you don't believe us you can check out photos here.

Fear not, there are three more dates with Gyroscope and Tame Impala to go. Not to mention two more Groovin' the Moo dates. All this is in the next couple of weeks. As always, you can find everything you need to know about these dates below.

Last month Chris found time to appear in the Earth Hour concert in Federation Square, Melbourne. He played in a "supergroup" including Nic Cester (Jet) and Kram (Spiderbait) they even did a spur of the moment performance on the AFL Footy Show . Stay tuned for more information on another very exciting collaborative project Chris is working on...

Now for some White Noise related news: both the White Noise Single and Album have gone Platinum in Australia! The band picked up their platinum records in Brisbane last week and are simply stoked.

The highly successful fifth album has just been released in European territories by Universal or Co-operative Music. So all European fans can finally hold the record in their hands.

The whirlwind European tour last month took in five countries and seven shows in a mere eleven days. But it was a helluva ride, with every date sold out and the band playing to raucous and very welcoming crowds. Thanks to everybody who waited such a long time and traveled to make it to the shows.

The band will head back to Europe next month for a bunch of massive festival dates. But first they will stop over in Japan for three headliners. Phew! So many shows. ALL dates below.

Love,

TLE HQ xx

as much as I love the band and the concerts were awesome, Berlin was definitely NOT sold out. Sorry. I was actually DANCING in front row, that's how much space there was. good for me, maybe not so good for the band.
