I think we need to keep this thing rolling now we're getting closer to the end... This track should be close because there's no big singles that are obvious. Personally I like Hey Hey... But lets wait an see!

Definitely Hey Hey Disbeliever. In my opinion it's musically better than the rest of those. Plus i've listened to it constantly for a year without getting sick of it, whereas the others i can't listen to as much. ;)

HHD because it impressed me the most after first listen of White Noise album. At second listen I noticed Waiting for the Silence but that's another story!

I'm undecided between Have They Forgotten and Hey Hey.

With this poll it was quite hard to choose what to vote for. I've always loved Silent Victory and that was what I was originally going to go for but then I listened to HHD and I decided on that instead because it blew me away again :).

Silent Victory...in a heartbeat
sing-along factor of the song is ridiculous
one of their best songs for belting out the chorus as loud as you can, i bloody love it
shame to see it getting beaten so badly by Hey Hey!

at the end of all of these track comparisons, we'll have to add up the total votes for each album, as i really think SOE is being hard done by with so many second placings...

Silent Victory.
The best solid rock song that the boys have released. Ever.

Hard choise bet our heart belongs to Have they forgotten. Kick ass power of that song is not compare to coolnes of Short Notice and modern sound of HHD.

haha i'm liking the total lack of support for Short Notice
vocal filters and weak lyrics should be passed over for the other 4 solid songs :)

I like it too, but it's suffering at the hands of stronger songs.

I voted Have They Forgotten. Oh That's Just Crap!

it's cruel to let S/T win in most of the polls! how band would feel, seeing that their best songs were all written back in 1997.
at least that's what our votes show, though I don't think S/T is their best work so far, because all of their albums deserve same respect and recognition.:pinch:

Short Notice is a great tune (in my opinion), and is also interesting for sheer trivia's sake as it's one of the only tunes where all three of the boys get writing credits. I remember Chris talking about how it was originally a more traditional love song called "You Go Girl" written entirely by Scott, and it utilized that same weird electronic beat that starts the final MA version of the song, but the lyrics took a decidedly more warped-romance turn.

That said, I voted for Silent Victory. Hands down. I'm starting to settle into the idea that Roll On is the best album they have yet/possibly ever will crank out.

woops!!! I totally stuffed up, Nowhere town is a track 11, it was supposed to be order of the day... If you would have voted for order, say so and we'll try tally some votes. Nobody picked up on it!

Damn it, and Order Of The Day is my favourite song haha all well.

Short Notice is a fun little song, but Hey Hey blew me away on first listen and I can still blast it and it feels so fresh and fun! good guitar too.

Yeah I didnt mind Short Notice and Hey Hey Disbeliever.

I really dig on the groove of "Hey Hey", especially the way he kind of raps along the almost too-many-words in the verse vocal, and the harmonies that go along with it. The 'alterna-rock by numbers' structure of the chorus kinda puts me off, though....its dissapointingly safe compared to some of the more exploratory, Clash style tunes on the album, like "White Noise" or "Sum of Us".

From the hey hey support I don't think Order of the Day would have won this track anyway.

Hmmm.

At my work, theres often just random songs being played on an iPod, and luckily for me the managers are big on TLE haha. Roll On and Second Solution both get workouts, but i would say the most played living end song would be Order of the Day. It's interesting, because when it comes on everyone starts humming/whistling it whilst working.

Not a fan of the first 3 songs, but Nowhere Town BARELY took over HHD. Suprised with Have They Forgotten though

1. Have They Forgotten - Hands down, this one has my vote. Love it.
2. Hey Hey Disbeliever - Great song; fun and full of energy and really enjoyed seeing it live.
3. Silent Victory - Went through a phase of listening to this when I first got my hands on Roll On, but it has little to match up to the harder sounding songs.
4. Order of the Day - Good, though nothing terribly special...of any part however, I do enjoy the height of this song; 'I won't forget but I'll refrain..'
5. Sort Notice - ...eh.
