I think I posted a thread like this a while back. IMO those tapes are the holy grail of the TLE fan. IIRC the tapes have not yet been released, and it doesn't look like they'll be released any time soon :(

of course we all want to see it, but I guess it's not gonna happen. All we could get was already released on that FHOI DVD.
btw, that remind me couple of lines from one of their myspace blogs - "we were swimming in a pool naked, and it was filmed, but it's not going to be on next TLE dvd!":p

Those videos were all Rae and Emma's i reckon. They'd certainly be a treat...even some of the 1997-99 handicam gigs that Rae took are pretty nice in quality. But they'll forever be in the TLE Archives i think!

Some stuff just wasn't meant to be released (sadly). If it was put out, it wouldn't be the Holy Grail anymore, would it?

Realistically, there's not a huge release market for something like this which makes it even less likely to happen. I think we were lucky enough to get clips from the videos on FHOI, and that's probably the full extent we'll ever see of those videos. I'd like to think that they'll do an expanded or revised version (or sequel, who knows) of FHOI in 10 years or something documenting from the SOE era onwards, I'd like to see that.

And just because I'm on a tangent and can't be bothered resurrecting another thread for airing this in, I think the next album should include a proper DVD of a Longnecks gig with all the appropriate songs on there (obviously just have the songs that made the album, to show the growth and differences of tracks, no stuff that didn't make the cut)

I don't know when or where, but i'm certain she was a fan first, manager later.

I'd also jump to the conclusion that maybe that is the reason why the band are reknown for being good to their fans, and we get alot of bonuses.
