Leeds Saturday Review Kerrang said...

' Drawing a smaller crowd but offering more entertainment-wise (previous band mentioned were Kids In Glass Houses) are THE LIVING END (KKKK) who combine psychobilly jams, anthemic pop-punk, showmanship and Aussie charm to introduce themselves to a lot of new fans in the best possible way (The Prodigy who headlined only got a KKK)

Cheers for this..

I groan a bit when every uk review recycles 'psychobilly'. Its not really where they are.

Psychobilly isn't a huge genre and a lot of readers won't identify with it. The last 2 TLE albums might not suit psychobilly fans much (Simon apart), so chances are theyy will continue to be a bit undiscovered here.

Thanx for rewuev. And, oh my, this not right "psychobilly identification" for band who was there but now far away is existing in your world too? We thought this problem existing only here - where music industry are very slow and stupid.

I think that is a world-wide problem with the stupidity in the music industry.

You can excuse them, the stomping rendition of 'Second Solution' with Chris shredding the guitar and Scotty slapping and riding that bass ticks all the 'Psychobilly' boxes apart from 'stupid lyrics' for those who don't know how to describe the band. He did also say 'combines' and I think even the band would admit that there is a bit of Psychobilly in there even if only in influence (they had just met Humungous of the Coffin Nails back-stage!)
