i listen to a lot of radio. A LOT. So when they play the same song every 20 minutes, every hour, every day, every week for a MONTH OR MORE, i start to get sick of certain songs. BECAUSE OF THE RADIO I CANT LISTEN TO WHITE NOISE. :( I CANT LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE I KNOW EVERY FUCKING THING THATS GONNA HAPPEN IN THE SONG, EVERY BEAT, EVERY RIFF AND EVERY FUCKING VOCAL AND DONT THINK IM NOT A TRUE FAN OF TLE BECAUSE I AM, IM JUST SICK OF THE RADIO SCREWING MY FAVOURITE BANDS OVER BY OVERPLAYING THEIR MUSIC! SO IM PISSED AT THE RADIO STATIONS. BECAUSE THAT WAS MY FAVOURITE SONG. AND NOW I CANT LISTEN TO IT. They did the same thing with Sexy Chick by David Guetta, i dont even like that song but they play it EVERY 10 MINUTES!!! :mad:

Be like me, I don't listen to the radio anymore. Sure, you end up feeling like an oldie, even when all your friends are up to date with what's new, but rest assured, it means you listen to the stuff you pick out for yourself. That is assuming, that you're not forced to listen to the radio.

but the radio is how i keep up to date with everything...

I haven't listened to radio more than an hour each week (not my choice) in years, and it feels good man. And then, it's only JJJ. Work (Coles) radio doesn't count. Perhaps I'm subconciously thankful they only play shitty shit shit (except for Take On Me... best song evar)
Also, don't listen to the song for months and months and you'll come back to it and probably like it again. There's plenty of other music out there to keep you satisfied if you stop listening to White Noise.it's not even one of their better songs

Its like saying "if I go there i'll get bashed," -well just don't go there!
I do understand what she's trying to say though, but the simple solution is to just not listen.

All commercial radio stations play the top 40 rubbish. If it ain't in the charts, they won't play it. Or if its a new release, then they will.
Specialist stations like TripleM will play more Alternative styled music might occasionally play the odd TLE track, but again, it's with the charts.

Listen to AM radio then, it's alot more interesting. There is No Radio is a very relative song to what I feel about radio .

Move to another country, there you won't find TLE songs in the rotation.. :p

I listen to commercial stations a few times a week (but always listen to 6 o'clock rock on Sat nights :cool:) cos its pretty easy to listen to while watching the dopey customers try and blow them selves up. They play white noise all the time, but I stiiiilllllllllllllll love it

Oh boo freakin hoo. If you didn't like any of the music on the radio at all you'd be complaining about that! I don't think radio stations screw bands over by playing them a lot. Getting airplay is a good thing for them. Like everyone else said, just don't listen. Geeze.
I pretty much only listen to abc dig radio.
JJJ is cool, OP is clearly not listening to it.
I listened to Triple J for the first time the other week for their Parklife broadcast from Brisvegas. But other than that, I stopped listening to that station soon after Mikey, Paul, Julie, Sandman & Flacco left.

Yeah, well, every radio station has its faults but at least jjj aren't known for playing songs every 20 minutes (which im sure they are exaggerating about anyway, srsly, I doubt even the shittiest stations play the same song twice within a program slot)
I find that JJJ is basically the lesser of all evils, especially up here.

i would second this.
easy solution: ditch radio. its so outdated in modern society, it amazes me its still popular at all, what with digital audio devices, etc.
just go with CDs/the ipod 100%
i listen to triple j every now and then...but i still get songs that don't appeal to me, which leads to me just listening to my favourite albums :)
