This is the final track people. We've had some suprising winners, some obvious winners and some very tight competitions but now it's time to round it off (before we have to do it again with a new album). So, what is your favourite track 14? Once again...its tight.

Hot dam that was hard, but closing in wins for me just over the room.

ahhh that's the other person who chose Into the Red!
Don't know why it always sounds really rocking to me. Cool one.

I voted for The Room, because it was the one track on Modern Artillery in particular that managed to make me forget how the album didn't feel a proper follow up to Roll On (and none of the albums since have, either). Manages to combine a whole bunch of the things that are great about TLE into one track without feeling pretentious, boring, or overlong.

But I CAN'T BELIEVE nobody has voted for Uncle Harry yet...that was an extremely close second for me, it's CHANTALICIOUS, and it also (literally and figuratively) marks the end of the pub-brawlin', riot-yellin', trav-drummin' era of The Living End.

After I had listened to Prisoner Of Society, Closing In was the second song I heard from S/T and it just blew me away! The musicianship in that song is just plain excellent. So obviously Closing In is what I voted for!

I wanted to say Uncle Harry, however as i'm a guitarist, Closing In never fails to blow me away!

musically closing in and the room are way above the others. I am suprised about uncle harry too... it is a live classic. I predict a late comeback

I also have Into The Red as my ringtone. It's one of my all time favourite TLE songs :)

From every TLE album the last song is one of my favourites... So this time it is impossible for me to choose. But I guess it would be either The Room or Closing In.

i saw Closing In first, and was about to pick it outright, but then i remembered that The Room is a track 14!
Closing In, musically is one of the most amazing single pieces from any guitarists i know, it is impossibly good.
i remember i always used to show it to all the non-believers who though TLE were just another punk band...
but as an actual, epic song, The Room just wins out. 8 minutes of pure, inspired brilliance.
will always remain one of my absolute faves.

Haha yes! I knew I was forgetting something in that post! They do sound alot like the Living End in that song... I think that was their intention... subtley.

Eh, as much as I love The Room (And I do!) It's probably my least favourite here...

the sheer awesomeness of Closing In should not be underrated, even by those who don't play guitar and may take for granted the genius of Chris.
having said that, its a very different song to The Room, so its easy to see why people are divided.

Closing In is musical genius all around...not just the guitar, the bassline...the drums...all of it. Kinda wish it had a bass solo, ala "Hellbound". It's also the only Living End song with a section NOT in 4/4.
