Welcome to the January News from The Living End.
Welcome to 2010 fellow friends of TLE! Well, what a year 2009 was, thanks for coming along on the ride. With The Living End playing one final show before descending into the studio to continue writing for their next record (very exciting!) we here at TLE HQ will keep you updated and entertained as best we can.
For now we will briefly look back at 2009. December saw The Living End take on an absolutely massive crowd at Sydney's V8 Supercars event, hitting the stage alongside the recently reformed and truly legendary Cold Chisel. Fresh off a flight direct from London, TLE pulled out all the stops, bringing their set jam packed with rock gems. Here is a photo from the show (we told you the crowd was epic!)

The end of 2009 (and the beginning of 2010) was heralded in Newcastle last week at the Queens Wharf Brewery. Joined by Children Collide & Dead Letter Circus, the new year was brought in with one helluva bang.
Still on the topic of shows, but looking ahead now. Victoria's Chill Island festival is now less than two weeks away. And do not forget that this is the very final stop on the White Noise World Tour, which means your last opportunity to see TLE for quite a while! The Living End will be joined by the very chill likes of Bob Evans, Kate Miller-Heidke, Hermitude and more for some friendly family afternoon fun. Tickets for that one are here.
The band managed to find time to drop by both Triple M and Nova just before Christmas to have a chat about what they have been getting up to. Check out some very amusing photos from the Nova studio here. There is also a video of the guys discussing their top 5 songs of all time up on the Triple M website, you can find that one here.
Now, we mentioned in the last installment of The Living End News that TLE had recorded a live set for BBC Radio's Punk Show while in the UK. We promised to deliver our good mailing list folks a link to listen once the show had been aired in the UK. Low and behold here it is! However, the bad news is that for now only those in the UK can stream the show from the BBC Website. Sorry!

Only one more online tidbit for you to feast your eyes upon this month. In the grand spirit of discounting things after Christmas, The Living End Official Merch Store at Fist 2 Face is still touting some awesome bargains. Not only that but there are some brand new items up for sale. These include a new hood (for those suffering through the northern winter) not to mention some new T-Shirt designs and a very cool tote bag. Check all of those lovely goodies out here: www.fist2face.com.au/?thelivingend
That's it for now folks. We hope you all enjoyed your holidays and are ready for a truly rock'n'rollin' 2010 with all things The Living End.
Love,
TLE HQ xx
