I've been using the Wayback machine to scroll over old-school Living End goodness recently, and an article from 2002 mentioned them ducking into the studio to record this song shortly before Chris' accident. Being that the boys have soooo many great songs that end up as obscure b-sides or on compilations or OTHER people's albums, I'm quite keen to get it, as it's probably the only Living End song I know exists that I don't have in my collection. Of course, I'm expecting an anti-downloading speech here, but does anyyyybody happen to have a copy, or perhaps could point me to a site where I could LISTEN to the song maybe?? Pretty pretty please??

It's a track you can buy, so...iTunes?

It may not be on US iTunes. US iTunes (and US versions of stuff in general, actually) leaves out a lot of stuff in that the rest of the world gets, probably because they don't think Americans will buy it..

Well, it was worth a shot.
Sorry, don't know. Google is my second suggestion.

Yes, very true, I used to be so frustrated because I'd switch my store to the Australian version and be able to hear PREVIEWS of all these great TLE b-sides and such, but you can only buy from your country of origin. I managed to dig up "Crossfire" from a blog, really interesting song...TLE does all the backing music and Chris sings all the harmonies in the chorus. They were actually scheduled to perform it with her at the Arias, but again, Chris' car wreck derailed all that. It's crazy to think about a "lost" third album they might have put out if it hadn't happened...the same interview I've been reading also mentions they were due to go into the studio in about 2 weeks to start working out/rehearsing/recording songs, I know "Who's Gonna Save Us?" and perhaps a few others had already been written...Trav even mentions songs HE wrote!
“Our albums have always been quite socially aware because of Chris' writing skills but the last few songs I’ve written have been real party tunes that basically say that yes, life can be bad, but as long as you have family and your mates that’s all that matters and I don’t think many bands are singing about that at the moment,” explains Dempsey, the more outspoken and fiery of the three.
Sorry, I'm a sucker for old stuff/nostalgia.
Pro-Tip:
If you have Karaoke mode on your home stereo, turn it on whilst playing Crossfire. You can hear Chris quite clearly. He's not singing as much, more just reading the lyrics of the song out loud.
you can also do that on your computer, quality is quite shitty but at least you get the idea :p

You can also turn Karaoke mode on and then plug a microphone in and do a really annoying impersonation of Kasey Chambers over the top.
Anyone who gets close to being as annoying as Kasey's voice actually wins a carton.

Wait...do Australians call six-packs of beer "cartons"?? I thought you were talking about cigarettes for a second, but I recognize VB from the many photos/videos of Chris and co. swilling cans of it vigorously as beer.

A carton is 24 stubbies or cans. Otherwise known as a slab.. Or a box. or a double dozen..
