 Listed among one of the ten paradises of the world by the National Geographic Traveler magazine, Kerala is the land of Unique culture and diverse nature. Hill stations of Kerala offer some of the best spectacular views of this God’s Own Country. The energizing atmosphere of the hill station is supported by pleasant climate, salubrious hills, pristine evergreen dense forests and tea, coffee and rubber plantations.
The main hill stations here are at Munnar, Idukki, Palakkad and Kannur. The Munnar hill station is called as nature lovers’ paradise. It is at the confluence of three mountain streams, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. The luxurious plantations stretch over the hills and together with the fast flowing rivers, gives a picture-post card look to the whole region. Idukki, the district itself is one of the most nature rich areas of Kerala. Hill station with wild life sanctuary and spice plantation, is the combined attraction here. The panoramic view of the Palakkad hill area cannot be denied during a Kerala Travel (http://www.indiadestinationtours.com). Evergreen shoal woods and monsoon forest grassland is the major attraction of Kannur hill station. Exotic flora and fauna, sprawling plantations, picture book towns and winding lanes are gifts of Kerala hill stations. Trekking, rock-climbing and hiking activities can be preformed in ones journey to the hill stations. :D
