Hi,
Ive been reading these forums for about a year now and finally decided to sign up. :)
I'm a guitarist and just starting to get into the softer 50's rockabilly style after
listening to heavier pyschobilly and rock n roll stuff for a while. I was just wondering if you guys knew any good songs with the whole hybrid picking and slapback echo sound going. Think Scotty Moore etc. I can already play mystery train and the likes.
I'm looking for stuff like this:
YouTube Guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfckCVs-rJ4)
but slightly easier!
Preferably songs with tabs available on the internet and with medium to advanced difficulty.
Cheers
Kevin

wow that guy was great,
if you're looking for something like that, but easier, try "too hip, gotta go" by the stray cats. setzer does a hot licks video showing all the workings of it, but it's not hard to pick up from tabs

lol, yeah i've been finding tabs of yours around.
it's funny, back in the self titled days, you had done all the tle tabs, and i was thinking "wow this guy must be great at guitar", i had no idea you're a year older than me and live about 20 minutes away
