Ok so I know that I've already posted this in the Videos thread but I reckon it could fit in here too. This is my media movie which I just handed in on Friday. It's meant to be a clip to Astoria Paranoia. I'm in two minds about it but I'm gonna burn a copy for the boys and give it to them if they visit our tent on Wednesday!

Just keep in mind that this is a year 11's work, it was done in a month at a school that doesn't rate media very highly and thus has hardly any good equipment or facilities.

Yeah the one i did of their faces was so hard, cause i had to use very small count crosses, so it looked more detailed. I nearly went blind, never using that count again!

I've gotten it signed by the band since that photo was taken.

Biggest cross stitch i've done, that took me 6 months, and i managed to give myself repetive strain injury from working on it too many hours at a time

for the edges i used the eraiser tool with a grunge brush set to go around the edges. For the scrunched effect i used scrunched paper brushes from here (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/569724/?qo=5&q=by%3Achain+in%3Aresources+sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps)

And yes our fanbase it's we, the Mad Heads band and 5-6 most devoted old school fans which know about TLE from rockabilly movement. And we can say for sure that here is more than 20 people which have some records, like the music and interesting in facts about band. And according to radio program about TLE which was made by Vadim ( Mad Heads) on Ukraine are more people who know them and like them. This program was aired and repeated on more than 50 ukr radio stations so we have no information how many people was influenced by this.

You should be able to change it to jpeg. If you go and open it again, you should be able to save it again and click on jpeg.
I only know coz i had to do it before when one of my pics was saved as ___.psf lol :)

The problem is. I scanned it at school and it's on my flash drive and it won't let me open it either.

Ohhh damn. That could be a problem then. My files always save as psf if i use this particular program i got on my computer called photostudio or something. and then they save as photostudio files (psf).

save it to your hard drive from your flash drive - make sure that it's not a read only file when on your hard drive and then try and save/re-name it that way Liz...

:( here is no anu crying smilie? We don't know how to answer on this question short. Here are many of people and young people who doing things they hate. Students studied chemistry or physics, got a digree and then going to work on market or working courier for companys. Why? Only our government can say why! We studied architecture just for three reasons :
- we need to live in Kiev, we got university and we got student's hostel!
- we need to get a dyploma of higher education because everybody here need this piece of paper but it's not a guarantee of reach and happy future
- we really don't know that we can make money buy cartoons and animation when we go to architecture university because it was totally impossible in our hometown, but not in Kiev

Finally, I have something to contribute to this thread! Haha. Here's my street team shirt. I spent ages trying to think of a way to write "The Living End" neatly on the shirt, I ended up printing it out, putting the paper down and stabbing wholes at every letter corner. Then I joined the dots and coloured the letters in. I'm pretty darn proud of myself. I still have to draw the bass, guitar and drum logo on the back of the neck, but I'm giving myself a break before I do that. By the way, the shirt is red, the black around the neck and sleeves is the tshirt I was wearing under it.

for future reference <a href= > tag and an <img src=" "> tag won't work on the board but if you replace them with (make sure you close them with (] and [img) and [/img]) then you should be able to get things correct!

i think that there is something on imageshack that has options for boards if you couldn't be bothered with remembering how to do code! :p

hehe - the only problem with colours is you can't rub them out - so once you've put the mark on the paper it's there forever OR you just have to go over it more and more until you get it the right shape...
