I bought myself the giant pack of sharpies with many assorted colors - thinking I was gonna need some special colors. Nope, I only used 6 and they were basic ones :rolleyes: haha and then I drew out my designs on paper first, then just drew them on the shoe and colored them!
although I did try to take my time, after all they were $40 shoes when I bought them:D

I would agree.

I have no problems with the idea behind it. But the execution was shocking. I believe it was probablytaken from the SOE Promo shots, where the same spray painted logo is on the wall behind them. They should have used proper artists spray paint, and got someone to do it properly. It would have given the desired effect, witout looking like someone with no arms and the wrong paint did it.

yeah, i knew something was wrong with the finger from the start...its somethign to do with the wierd angle....cause i prety mcuh just took what i saw ...wanted to keep it true to life....prehaps its his secret wepon....fingers that can break in order to play guitar ...faster.....prehaps......or prehaps i did jsut screw it up....
also i thaught id just add....that after lookign at the original photo...the eye isnt that out of wack.....

Would anyone like to come up with a TLE design that I could easily paint onto a cardboard-like box??

I've had an old filing box painted black for years now with my TLE collection in it, but have never gotten around to putting something on the lid/outside of the box to say what is in it/what it is.

The lid is 40cm X 32cm.
The sides are 40cm X 22cm and 32cm X 22cm

It has to be something pretty easy cause I am crap at arty stuff and would easily stuff it up! :p

You don't have to do a whole design if you don't want to..maybe just throw me some ideas to play around with.

hmm maybe you need to make a paper cut-out (one of TLE logo's or Chris's face as I did) and paint it with silver spray paint as ones which use for graphity? also you can add stars on it.anything...
